Our DJ

Well last weekend we got our DJ! And took it home. And are about to exchange it for an updated DJ. Say "Hello" to our DJ:

Hello Macbook Pro. For those of you who keep up on things, you will realize that if we purchased our Mac last weekend that means it was days before they announced the new, better, CHEAPER macbook pro. Boo. Luckily they let you exchange if a new version comes out within two weeks of your suddenly old and decrepit laptop. So I will be taking it in to exchange this week, Macbook we love you but we will love your updated twin more. eek. This will be acting as our DJ for the wedding, and it comes with a free backup singer!

CK has had a second gen ipod for ever, therefore the backup singer, who I got for free since I am a student, is his. Your welcome! So this is our DJ team. We had been making music lists on seeqpod, but it looks like that's gone under for now, so we'll have to pick up and rebuild. An ipod wedding saves money yes, but it also prevents a strange DJ from taking over your wedding and harassing your guests. We realize they also make useful announcements and you DO need someone who can be in charge of music. For that, we have a DougJay!

I had no idea his facebook picture was so crazy. Doug, Chris' good friend from college, has agreed to take on the position of emcee with enthusiasm! Thanks to him we'll have someone to make much needed announcements during the beginning of the reception, from there we hope our playlists will take everyone onto the dance floor and into the evening! Hopefully Doug will leave his furs at home.
