Beach Bums

We've been busy with more than wedding plans - we've been making plans for our honeymoon too! So far, we've booked a few things that I think every couple needs...

Day one: A couples massage! This was from our hotel's site in Waikiki. We'll have to practice being creepy like this couple:

Chris will be getting the Rollarsage and I picked the Heavenly massage! We'll be in the oceanfront lounge, with the jacuzzi, steam room, and lounge. Oooo. Romance.

Of course massages aren't really Chris' thing. He's being a trooper doing the couples massage with me. And I appreciate it. I also appreciate him not minding me do more spa stuff without him! So in Kauai I'll be doing this:

Massage on the beach! Oh. Ya. I really wanted to do a hot stone massage, but it's going to be hot! Sounds counterintuitive. So instead I'll be getting the Lomi lomi massage, where they use their elbows and forearms to massage you. Sounds interesting to me when you give it a Hawaiian name! But we won't be spending all our time getting massages on the beach we'll also be...

Horseback riding to a waterfall & going for a swim! Oooo, Ahhh. I can't find our reservation to give you any details, but trust me we're signed up. We considered swimming with the dolphins, but I'm thinking that could be encouraging animal abuse (hey dolphin stick my feet on your face and push me. now.) so maybe not. Lastly, so far, we'll be doing some of our own exploring with this:

It may scream tourist, but jeeps are really cheap to rent on the island because everyone wants one! So why not. What else? I'd love to do some snorkeling, and touch.. err I mean see .. some lava (no touching no touching!), but besides that we look forward to relaxing and quality time as husband and wife. We have a few reservations for dinner made, but honestly we're surprised that they aren't more nice places to eat in Hawaii. What excuse will I have to buy nice dresses besides a beach cover up!? Oh well, we'll have fun in the sun regardless.
