Before we went to PA in May I was surprised one night to find that Chris bought a little something for our wedding.
Alright it's not that little. This 1.5 L bottle of wine is our guestbook! I love the idea to have our guests sign the bottle, and then crack it open on our Nth year anniversary and reminisce. He even carefully removed the back label to maximize the autographing area. And since he got it right before our trip, it's one less thing to take home in September! Nice timing.
If your thinking - I hope 2005 was a good year, 1.5 L is a lot o'wine - CK just told me it was rated the best modern vintage since 1961 and the vintage got an over all rating of 99/100 points, and can be kept for something like 25 years, maybe longer. Someone sure did his research.
