Introducing - Mr. Groom!

The ladies and I had been getting ready for two hours, starting at 10 am, when the men gathered to start getting ready at noon.

We put up our OOT groomsmen at a local B&B not 5 minutes from Chris' parent's house and this is where they all gathered to get dressed and get Chris ready to say "I do". Unfortunately our photographer's assistant didn't take many pictures of the men getting ready because I guess he didn't like the lighting, but I'll share the few he did take.

Justin, going over the poem he chose to read for our ceremony.

Chris, writing a love note to give to his best man #1 who was very excited deliver to it me before our ceremony.
One of the best men, James, vesting up. I had jokingly told him he had to grow his hair out, since he'd been shaving his head for years, and he did! Granted it was a slight mohawk, but I think he looked great. Much to my surprise all the groomsmen showed up with a grey vest, white shirt, and grey pants in hand! If you recall we let them each pick out their own outfit, but gave them color guidelines, and it was a nail bitter wondering if someone would end up coming without an outfit!

Second best man and brother Justin helps Chris get ready for his big day.

Total concentration.
Now for the finishing touches - pocket square and tie clip.

And shablam! Chris becomes Groombeam! All ready for his bride-to-be.

That's it for photos of the men getting ready. Had I been there I would have insisted more pictures be taken, but at least we got a few. You'll see later how great the men all looked in their various vests and matching ties which Chris gifted them along with something more personal. Seeing Chris in a suit reminded me of our High School proms and how I used to tell him he looked like a vampire. Well today he looked like a handsome Groom!

Up Next: A last minute something blue.
