Thursday before the wedding, Chris and I were busy as could be to get everything in order before our friends and family arrived. Besides visiting our reception site, I visited our church to make sure our decorations would hang properly, we were stuffing out of town bags, fluffing poms, emailing vendors, and running to Pittsburgh to pick up cheese for our reception. I was starting to wonder if I should miss out on the bachelorette because there was so much to be done, but decided 'no way!'. We had to let go and start having some fun!
Our wedding party and a few of Chris' coworkers flew in two days before the wedding to join in on our bachelor & bachelorette parties.. or should I say PARTY!? Everyone met up at a B&B where our groomsmen were staying and next thing we knew a party bus rolled up. Okay okay, I knew there might be a party bus, but Chris was surprised to see it!

Just before getting on the bus our bestman #1 handed out t-shirts that he and his wife had designed based on our invitation motif.

We were off to Pittsburgh! I loved that we were all together on the party bus. I love all of our friends, and of course Chris, so the more the merrier to me! While we were sharing transportation and the bus was going to drop us off at different locations unknown to to us, that is after a quick stop at the Primanti Brother's for a cheese steak.

The two parties split up. The men don't have any pictures to share because.. well lets say they weren't allowed to take any, but there are plenty of the lady's adventures! Like a bit of dancing on a bar...

And a colorful drink or two..

One odd thing that happened was that we kept getting mistaken for G20 protestors! Yes, our party in Pittsburgh was during the G20! I mean I can kinda see it - a bunch of girls in matching t-shirts among a city full of protestors. I should have asked my ladies to get me a veil and some fuzzy pink things to wear so people knew I was a bride!! It all worked out though and we had a great time.

I was really happy when the two parties met up again and we finished celebrating together on the ride home. Getting a party bus together was the best idea (thanks James!!) even when it made sudden stops or turns!

Btw, my hair was look'n fabulous because I had a hair trial that morning! It wasn't planned that way, I actually missed my appointment earlier in the week, but I was happy to have fabulous hair for the party!

After the party bus departed the men headed up to my parent's cabin, while we ladies went home to get our beauty rest! It was 3 am, time for this sun to set. There was only one more day to go and plenty to do!
