What an exciting weekend this was! Some of my lovely Bridesmaids and Chris' Aunt & Uncle surprised us with a Jack & Jill shower on Friday. I was so surprised I really felt a little dumb! I thought for sure I'd know when my shower was going to happen, but I guess imagining it would be in August was my first folly! The shower was fantastic and the leftovers will be feeding us all week. My friends really went above and beyond and also planned a semi-bachelorette trip to the wine country for Saturday and Sunday! I can't tell you how much everyone's efforts meant to me. Speechless! Needless to say we will be working on those invites today to wake up for lost time. Whoops. I want to wait to get my pictures together to do an official post about the events, but I will share this photo of one happy bride!
But wait! Are you wondering about my oh so happy top secret news!? I wouldn't promise to divulge and then leave you high and dry! I am a contributing Bride for the WeddingBee blog! I'm so excited to be a part of it and the best part is, I don't have to abandon posting here because they pull posts from this blog to add on to theirs (I of course get to tweak them for a mass audience!). Yippee! More folks to share all my wedding thoughts and details with. Chris must be so relieved ; )
