Registering was a fun experience. We've talked about what we might register for and of course every magazine has the essential check list, so we were fairly controled when they stuck that scanner in our hands and only picked things we thought would be especially nice to have in case anyone is feeling gifty.
Where did we register? Williams-Sonoma, and Crate & Barrel.
Of course donations to our "house fund" would also be very much appreciated (that's right we're looking!). We would love to live in the same area of San Francisco that we do currently. Ideally we hope to find a place with more bedrooms so our family can grow, and so Sophie can have more space to run around.
Shipping:
We hope guests won't mind us asking not to bring large gifts to the wedding if possible, simply due to the difficulties of getting those items back to CA with us,(along with my wedding dress, our cat, etc etc). Gift certificates to William Sonoma or Crate and Barrel and gifts of money are of course always welcome and having items shipped directly to CA is also an excellent option. We asked Chris' Aunt Linda if items could be shipped to her house, so do not be surprised when you see Mill Valley as the ship address. Anything left outside our apartment would be gone in a heartbeat. If you need a shipping address for us, please inquire with our parents, otherwise we have already included one in our registries online.
