Last on the wine list was reds! CK contacted K&L winery one more time for some good red wine suggestions. He also contacted Gary Vaynerchuk, he's a big fan, but to no reply. We were also invited over to CK's Aunt's for a sweet lamb shank dinner - perfect to try some reds right? So we boxed them up and headed over. Here's the line up.
Lirac Domaine Mayran,
Valle del Acate Poggio Bidini Nero d'Avola,
Tessier Cheverny,
and Alcina Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.
The first and last wines were the favorites by a landslide and between the two the pinot from Alcina came out on top. So I believe we have a winner and our wine tastings are finite! CK can't wait to put our orders in.
