This past week the elusive CK and I cracked open some ciders to taste, because we can't have a fall wedding without hard cider! What sort of hosts would we be?
Chris had a Fox Barrel cider for lunch in the Mission and thought we should try a few to see if they were wedding worthy. Last week when we were perusing Whole Foods for some cheeses (remember that mac n che' in the champagne pictures!?) we also found the ciders! We've been holding out on trying them bc we've been so busy, but we finally cracked them open.

We went with the apple cider and the black currant cider. (They also make pear) As you can see we paired them with the yummiest chips around!

Hmm apple? black currant? Black Currant! Both were good but black currant was especially tasty, it's a little different from your normal cider, and my favorite part, it definitely won't be mistaken for any of our other drinks! The apple looks like champagne doesn't it? I think so. So it's out! CK has already been in touch with the producers to be sure we can get some for our wedding in PA. Next up reds.
