Our out of town bags were a labor of love, but lacked a plan of delivery! Sadly I think half our guests went home without them because we forgot to drop them off at the hotels, and then forgot to bring them to the reception. Luckily we were able to pass out some of the baggies out at Dessert on Friday, so it wasn't a total failure of delivery, but I wish we had given them to everyone.

We purchased 50 8"x 10"muslin bags online and decorated each bag with a custom stamp I had ordered from Impress Rubber Stamps of our invitation motif. Then came the fun part - filling the bags!

Each bag contained the following:
- From our family vacations, saltwater taffy from Shrivers.
- From San Francisco, macarons from Paulette Macaroons.
- From Grove City, nuts and wasabi peas from Here's Howe.
- From High School, wintergreen lifesavers (I used to line my locker with the wrappers).
- From, well it all started with my great grandma, M&Ms.
- A map just incase anyone forgot to bring the one in their invite.
- and bottled water.
I purchased things like the nuts and peas in bulk, I think it was something like 5-6 pounds of each, and portioned them into inexpensive sandwich bags without a zip top. I then tied the baggies closed with a piece of cotton string. Simple and easy! Here are the bags stuffed and ready to (not) be delivered!

The left over baggies did not go to waste. We brought a few with us on our honeymoon and our parents planned to pass out the rest. If I could do it all again I would delegate OOT bag delivery to someone! So sorry if you missed out! This was one of my favorite projects.
