Shoes

You can probably tell by looking at my feet that I am a clueless girl when it comes to shoes. I own about.. maybe 12 pairs of shoes? Five that I wear regularly. Well, I saw this pair of shoes not long ago and I was so SMITTEN!!

Very unexpected. I think that bow is impossibly romantic. I had no idea how to get my hands on these, if I could even afford to be in the same room as them, so I posted for help on the weddingbee. Well the girls came through! I found out these Giuseppe Zanotti 3" dyeable satin shoes were a limited edition in a previous year's collection. I scoured the internet looking for them. But to no avail. Sigh. This also means even if I had found them I could never afford them. Maybe used.

So what does a hopeless shoe girl do when it comes to wedding shoes? Enlists a friend who she knows loves shoes and has tons of them! Hi Nicole! She sent me links to great shoe sites, vintage and otherwise. Now in addition to pouring over wedding sites, I have shoe sites to start drooling over. Finding some I can afford might be difficult, but let's see some I might wear if I won the lottery!

Nice to meet you Nina Ricci, how would you like to come home with me. Oh wait did you say your 4.25" tall and $725? No only would my ankle break if I wore you, so would my credit card.

Wow Christian Loubotin, you have a stunning bow too! I see you come in ivory and have a red sole; how did you know those were our wedding colors? Can you tell Barney's to call me when you go on sale? And can you hide in the back in my size until your like 80% off? Thank you (call me)!
