I promise to post more in a week or so! It's finals time and I'm getting ready to go home for a quick visit for, among other things, an east coast shower thrown by my mother and lovely east coast 'maids! Can't wait! Hope to see you there!
A about a month ago I was surprised to find myself at shower number one in CA. Here's the adorable invite Lindsay picked out.
After celebrating a baby shower at work, Chris and I headed over to his Aunt's house for dinner. Little did I know that I would be walking right into our Jack & Jill shower! To top it off two of my 'Maids from the east coast had flown out - something I never imagined happening. Sadly, Chris forgot his camera, and I didn't think to ask anyone to capture specific things like the decorations and the gift opening! There is a picture of me giving Chris the - youuuu are sooo sneaaaky! - face and receiving a gift...

The shower was amazing. I will say I might not have been the best gift opener though, hopefully I'll do better this weekend. After a fabulous shower I was surprised again! The girls stayed the night and the following morning, whisked me off to the wine country to take a tour and do taste. On to the tour bus!

After a day tasting in Napa we went out for dinner and hit the town had a final bottle of bubbles to top off the day. The whole weekend was just above and beyond. I never imagined my east coast 'maids would come to my west coast shower or that they'd turn it into a ladies weekend! Even thinking about it now I feel elated and sunny, hehe. Here are the lovely 'maids that made it happen!
