Portraits and Anticipation.

The original plan was to head back to our church, where we had our first look. We had planned to take portraits with our family while our DOC Heather and wedding party decorated the chapel. Unfortunately the rain had made the ground too wet (in my eyes) to take portraits outside in the grass, so we turned to the back up plan - my parent's house. On the upside our DOC, who brought her sister to assist, was already up at the chapel decorating and wasn't in need of any additional help, so the wedding party was able to take it easy, have a bite, and take a few photos with us.

We were right on time with the schedule, though it was likely due to the fact that we forgot to take our formal portraits together after our first look! We had a few moments to relax, greet, eat, and get the boutonnieres on straight.

Then we moved outside in groups for photos. I actually had no idea when this started. The groomsmen and Chris were on top of things with their photos. Our pictures were pretty stagnant with our wedding party, so I'll just show one of each of those!

And then in a blink of an eye it was time. Someone was saying, you need to get up to the church! Back into our mini bus we went and then scuttled into the church.
